SAFETY

Safety is one of our primary concerns at Marble Emporium. Throughout our 25 years in operation, our safety record has been outstanding. We cultivate a culture of safety by having regularly scheduled safety meetings for both our installation crews and fabricators in our shop. We have stressed over the years that safety is a team sport and that when everyone is responsible for each other’s safety, we all win. This serious approach to our employees’ and contractor safety has greatly contributed to producing an insurance modifier that is on target, or lower, than industry averages. These efforts in safety also help lower our overall administrative and healthcare costs which translate to our capability of delivering the most cost effective on-time and on-budget value to our contractor clients.

We are the ONLY company in Chicago in our industry that has voluntarily done what others dread:

We invited OSHA to our plant to do an inspection! And we passed their inspection with flying colors! Our workers are protected against noise, dust and excessive weight lifting. We basically run a safe and accident-free environment. Our water is fully recycled and reused through a fully automated mini plant that helps us preserve our water resources to the absolute minimum.

Our air is kept clean by confining dust to a securely enclosed area where the air is water filtered and dust is contained, recycled and eliminated.
